WordPress Administration Guide for Beginners

August 20th, 2010 by

Example from the WP Admin Guide

When you finish a site for a client, how to you teach them the basics of WordPress?

We’re talking about the real basics here like logging in, what posts and pages are, using the visual editor, pasting from MS Word, uploading images, stuff like that.

The new WordPress Admin Guide can help.

Right now, it covers the raw basics.

Next, we’re going to add a bit more advanced material such as running a multilingual website (duh), search engine optimization through plugins or theme fields and creating a newsletter.

Then, we’ll also offer the full guide as PDF, so that you can download and email your clients.

So, have a look, tell us what you think and start passing it along!
