Hello,
does WMPL support custom post types? I have an old version and would upgrade to the paid version if it does.
Thanks in advance,
Nils Kattau
(PS: If you speak German, feel free to answer in German
)
WPML runs fine with custom post types. You can define them manually (in PHP), or using plugins.
Hi,
I run my website wird wordpress, wp e-commerce (http://getshopped.org) and the ebussines theme developed by Elegantthemes (http://www.elegantthemes.com/).
I’d like to implement WPML this year. Do you see any problems or challenges to do that for my website?
Thanks for you answer.
Serge
There are currently some problems between WPML and WP E-Commerce. We’re trying to work on them with the GetShopped people, but I don’t know how this will go. Right now, WPML works very nicely with WooCommerce and MarketPress.
Is the offered packed per blog or per developper… I run currently 5 blogs. Does this mean I have to buy a version per blog? If so do you offer a multiple blog version..?
You can use WPML to create as many sites as you like. We don’t limit you on the number of sites that you build with WPML.
For the internationale NGO nph deutschland e.V. we are running a wordpress-blog at http://www.blog-mygoodshop.org. We are using it together with MyGoodShop for getting donations for children in our orphanges in Latin America.
Your plugin-in would be very helpfull for publishing our content in different languages.
My question: is there a free-version avaible for a non-profit-organisation?
More informations about NPH (Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos) you can find on our international website http://www.nph.org or please send me a direct email.
Thanks for your help!
Detlef
You can request an account for non-profits here:

Hi there,
I have a website with a blog and a shop integrated. I’m not quite sure, is WPML the solution when I need my page in german and english and the customer can choose his language when he lands on the page, e.g. with flag-buttons at the top of the page?
thanks
If you’re doing an e-commerce website, I recommend that you look into WooCommerce. We’re working with their team to make sure that WPML and WooCommerce are fully compatible. Have a look here:

Hi developer,
as I understood, you translate with a build-in-service!
can I manually take over this service.
I don’t want to have a machine translation.
Best Regards From Stuttgart
Toni
WPML doesn’t include machine translation. You can translate yourself or outsource the translation to other services. Please see here how to translate with WPML:

Hello, is WPML compatible with the plugin Formidable Pro? Can I translate all fields, templates and custom views created with formidable tool?
Thank you
Last time we checked, it looked fine.
Hi!
Im not sure which version of wpml to use:
I want to make a Website using WP with three languages.
The Frontend should be fully translated.
I have all text translated already.
The website should be SEO friendly (I like to use the SEO Plugin http://yoast.com/wordpress/seo/ and the Cache Plugin Cachify)
Wich version of wpml do i need?
Regards
Benedikt
Most people eventually buy our Multilingual CMS version. It includes all of WPML’s functionality. If your site includes widgets and other non-post texts, you will probably need the String Translation module, which comes with the CMS package.
Hello,
I’m an Austrian organization with a EU VAT ID (UID) and I’d need a VAT-free invoice.
How can we get there.
Thanks
After you buy WPML, you will be able to enter you company details and receive a fully personalized invoice. It includes all the information that you enter about yourself as well as our company tax information.
Ok, is VAT therefore, included, or Not?
Yes, the price includes VAT. There’s no additional payment besides what you see on our site.
VAT – but not for a EU company, right?
We are a US company and you are from the EU, so there is no VAT for you. You only need to add VAT when you pay other EU companies. A good part of our sales come from the EU and I can say with certainly that this is how it works.
After you complete your payment, you will receive a tax invoice. It includes all the tax information that your accountant will need.
So, there is no VAT included? And no US sales tax?
No. There is no VAT. You don’t need to add VAT and we’re not going to charge it. There’s also no US sales tax. Sales tax and VAT only apply when you buy and sell from the same region. We are in different regions.
OK, everything clear now, your reply caused a little irritation.
Our website runs on typo3 with wordpress smartly integrated. I want the language switch only from typo and no additional language options from wordpress.
Can I replace the WPML language switch by our own?
Can I address the different languages via URL?
If your website runs Typo3 and not WordPress, how are you going to use WPML?
We run both on different servers. With the common layout you can switch between them without getting notice of switching between different programs.
We have in this layout a language switch and don’t want any second one. Therefor the questions:
Can I replace the WPML language switch by our own?
Can I address the different languages via URL?
Hallo,
ich bin mir unsicher für welche Version, Blog oder CMS, ich mich entscheiden soll. Gibt es die Möglichkeit später von der Blog auf die CMS Version upzugraden? Wenn ja, was kostet solch ein Upgrade?
Ja. Sie können später upgraden und zahlen nur die Differenz.
—
Yes. You can upgrade later and pay only the difference.
