Babelcomics.com ist ein großartiges Beispiel für die Verwendung der Mehrsprachenfähigkeit von WPML. Die Leute dort benutzen es, um ein Netzwerk von WPMU-Blogs zu betreiben, das auf Englisch und Französisch angeboten wird.
Da WPML unterschiedliche Sprachversionen als unterschiedliche Seiten betrachtet, kann jede Seite ihre eigenen Grafiken und Flash-Animationen beinhalten, und alles kann in der richtigen Sprache angezeigt werden.

We’re into comics and webcomics, bilingual (French/English) for the time being. Our first platform Oghme Comics is powered by the French CMS Dotclear, with an excellent internationalization plugin called DCTranslations. So far, it’s been the best plugin we ever found for a blogging platform, which was the main reason we always stuck with Dotclear, and will continue to do for this Oghme platform.
Howerver, as we’re setting up a new platform for webcomic translations, more open than the first (this is BabelComics), we wanted to use a more widespread CMS and eventually chose WPMU,… thanks to WPML.
This plugin enables us to build a mutli-blog multilingual platform, comics oriented (meaning that it has to handle image translations too). The ease of use, powerful API and the fact that it integrates seamlessly into an existing WPMU multi-blog platform in a matter of seconds, simply makes it the best professional solution available today.
