Hi!

i have a FR/EN site and use WP as a CMS and your plugin has been very useful.

tho, i believe i found a bug with the language switcher function. it doesn’t translate the main category name if there’s a subcategory in the url.

example from my site:
http://macarrier.mylost.ca/fr/realisations/projets-web/cqrht/

should link to
http://macarrier.mylost.ca/en/accomplishments/web-sites/cqrht-2/

but links to this instead:
http://macarrier.mylost.ca/en/realisations/web-sites/cqrht-2/

is there a quick way to fix this?

Hi,
I have the following problem: After each post I write “This post is also available in …”. I do not use their function – icl_post_languages. It comes automaticly. Can sоmеone tell me how to remove it?

It doesn’t seem to work for me. I am trying to integrate the plugin within my own template.

I have included the required file in functions.php, but all the examples I am trying end up with the same error:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\sitepress-multilingual-cms\sitepress.class.php on line 2949

Any idea?

FYI: If the url of the link doesn’t point to the translated version of the same page (goes to the main page no matter what) make sure you included wp_head(); in your header.

Found the solution by myself: I found this code in wpml-integration.php

I’m using the Language List in the footer, and the code works great.. but there’s one slight issue that bothering me.. I’m trying to remove the native name from the list, so it only displaying the translated name but with no bracket.
for example :
English | Francais (French) | Italiano (Italian)
I would like to turn it into something like this..
English | French | Italian

Would you please give me a hint?

Of course, PHP statements need to be wrapped in that. You need to place it in your theme according to where it should display in the site.
