Hi,

We have create a new language with WPML: American to have different content if the browser language is en_US or English content if the browser language is en_GB.

Unfortunately even if the browser language is US, it's always redirect to the English content.

In the WPML setting we have check "Redirect visitors based on browser language only if translations exist", we change the browser language to US clear the cookies and the content is always Englsih.

To display to American content we need to click manually on the flag.

So my question is: Is it possible to use the auto-redirection based on the language browser if we use a created language ?

You site redirected me to http://www.evo.freemancontingent.ie/?lang=en on first load.
Isn't that what you wanted?

Hi Brooks,

Not really I was expecting to have the US content when my browser language is not en_GB, and it still redirect on the English content (http://www.evo.freemancontingent.ie/?lang=en) in any case.

What I really want is that all users are redirect on the US content.
I only want to display the EN content if the first language browser of the user is on en_GB.

I tested again for both en_GB and en_Us
And its working fine.

Hi Seamus,

I've having exactly the same issue and have tried all the steps you did, but US visitors still land on the UK version of our site. Did you manage to find a solution to this problem?? I have a support case logged today so if I hear back I can let you know.
