hi
I read the topics on that subject, and it seems there is still a problem en this one.
Whatever the plugin used (I use the one of wpmudev) it is still impossible to use the subfolder option.
Seems to be a simple rewrite issue/incompatibility of wpml.
Do you have any news on that ?
I mentioned this at wpmudev also (http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/domain-mapping-wpml-error) hope you will be able to solve that fast. This is very important !

We're working with the folks from WPMUDEV on this. They contacted us on Friday and we just got started.
If there's no reply here in a week, please post again and I'll update you on the current status.
Right now, we're waiting for them to send us some stuff, so that we can pinpoint the problem and debug it.
