elisidunyamiz.com teaches how to do craft patterns, shows beautiful examples and includes tutorials. It was originally written in Turkish and later translated to English.
This is the first site on why we’re seeing Twitter updates in two languages. To achieve this, the author used a simple, but effective technique. The site uses the Twitter for WordPress plugin and wrapped the account name in a gettext call:
<?php twitter_messages(__("username","sitedomain")); ?>
What this does is allow entering a replacement for the Twitter user name during the theme localization (either a .mo file or WPML’s string translation mechanism). This way, a different twitter account is used per language.
