Getting started with Cultures Connection and WPML

To send content for translation to Cultures Connection, install the following plugins on your website:

  • WPML Multilingual CMS – the core plugin
  • WPML String Translation – this plugin will allow you to translate interface strings

You can download them from your wpml.org account. If you do not have an account yet, you can create a new one by choosing WPML Multilingual CMS or Multilingual Agency plans.

Working with Cultures Connection via WPML

Connecting Your Website to Cultures Connection

First, you need to connect WPML with Cultures Connection. Part of this very simple process is to request your Cultures Connection API token.

You can either request your token either by email or using Cultures Connection’s dedicated Customer Portal, and receive it via the same means.

Sending content for translation

Once your site is connected to Cultures Connection, you can start sending your content for translation.

Receive a quotation from Cultures Connection

Once the content is received in full, Cultures Connection’s team reviews it and starts analyzing the files using its tools. The quotation is ready in 2 hours or less. If you confirm the offer, and once the corresponding payment has been made, they are ready to start.

Receiving completed translations

Once done, your site is ready to receive completed translations.

Canceling translation jobs

Youc an cancel a project by contacting your Project Manager via standard communication means (email, phone, etc).
