  1. Fix the flag fo both traditional and simplified Chinese.
It looks the same flag of China right now… it is harder to read, make the traditional chinese flag back to Taiwan or Hong Kong please

  2. Hello Lawrence,

    Thank you for your feedback.

We’ve changed the traditional Chinese flag to use the same as the simplified Chinese because we’ve got complaints about the fact that the Taiwan republic is not recognized by the mainland Chinese government.

However, the main issue is that languages do not represent countries and countries does not represent languages.

We provide the ability to match a flag to a language because that’s a very common practice when displaying language switcher.
And in many cases, that’s not an issue as languages and their variations match countries.

But Chinese variations and a few other languages are exceptions.

We could have used the Hong Kong flag, but other users could have complained that they don’t get the flag of Taiwan, Macau or China.

Therefore we’ve decided to use the same flag for both Chinese variations.

As users are still free to customize the language flag used for each country, we prefer to leave this decision to each site admin, so to meet their specific needs.
