About Inpokulis

Founded in 1999, Inpokulis is an experienced Portuguese LSP with ISO17100 certification, the European Norm that regulates the quality of translation service provision. This certification constitutes a guarantee that translations will be revised by an appropriately qualified reviser.

Inpokulis’ dedicated and experienced project management team manages every step of the project, with a network of over 200 translators specialized in different language combinations and areas such as localization, SEO, legal, tourism, marketing, technical, etc. Inpokulis’ translations are always done by native translators and are in line with its clients’ instructions and terminology preferences. Their policy is to establish the best possible relationship with their clients, through phone calls or informal meetings to discuss any aspects of the translation project and work together to find the best solutions.

Getting started with Inpokulis and WPML

To send content for translation to Inpokulis, install the following plugins on your website:

  • WPML Multilingual CMS – the core plugin
  • WPML String Translation – this plugin will allow you to translate interface strings

You can download them from your wpml.org account. If you do not have an account yet, you can create a new one by choosing WPML Multilingual CMS or Multilingual Agency plans.

Working with Inpokulis via WPML

Here are the basic steps of working with WPML and Inpokulis. For a full walkthrough, check out our page about using WPML with a translation service.

Connecting Your Website to Inpokulis

First, you need to connect WPML with Inpokulis. Part of this very simple process is to request your Inpokulis API token.

You can request an account and your API Token by submitting the form available on Inpokulis’ contact page.

Sending content for translation

Once your site is connected to Inpokulis, you can start sending your content for translation.

Receive a quotation from Inpokulis

Once your translation basket has been transmitted, Inpokulis will be notified and will proceed to carry out a detailed analysis and quoting of the batch. Inpokulis will email you a detailed quote for the batch, with terms and conditions of business and simple instructions on how to authorize the translation.

Receiving completed translations

Once done, your site is ready to receive completed translations.

Canceling translation jobs

If for any reason, you want to cancel the translation of the pages sent from WPML to Inpokulis, bear in mind that you cannot manually delete or cancel jobs from the Translation Jobs tab on your website. The project can be canceled only by Inpokulis. To do this, please contact Inpokulis directly.

Translating the Rest of Your Site

Once you’re done translating the content of your page, there could be untranslated texts in menus, sidebars, and similar places. No problem, you can use Inpokulis to translate the rest of your site.
