This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with domain validation when saving settings in WPML and has trouble switching languages without logging in again.
Solution:
1. For the domain validation issue, uncheck the "Validate" box next to the domain field and save the settings. This should allow the settings to be saved even if the domain is not validated.
2. For the issue with language switching, ensure that the 'Auto sign in and sign out' option is enabled. Also, check that the Site URL and WordPress URL under Settings > General are configured correctly, without discrepancies like one having a subfolder (e.g., "/en") and the other not. After making these adjustments, log out and then log back in from the main site.
If these steps do not resolve the issues, we recommend marking this ticket as resolved and opening a new ticket for each specific issue as per our Support Policy. This approach helps us focus on one problem at a time and allows other users to find solutions more efficiently.
Please note that the solution provided might be outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
