I have updated the original EN post, including a change of design. I want to delete or re-translate automatically. When deleting secondary language pages, adding translation and trying to translate, it automatically shows an error.

What is the best approach to regenerate automatic translation, including change, when done to design using page builders?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

If you deleted the translated page, please empty the trash before trying to re-translate the page.

If you updated the page and want to update the translation, please go to WPML-> Translation Management and send the page to translation.

Kindly check this guide. (https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/)

Best regards,
Osama

Sorry, I did not really understand your reply.

I delete the translated page, yes, trash, before trying to re-translate the page. But once it was automatically translated, is there an option to recreate the page and do the automatic translation? It produces now error when i try to translate.

Or when I update the primary language via page builder that includes the same design, it shows that it needs to be updated, but in the translator editor, there is nothing to update - newly added items in the original language are not reflected in the targeted language.

Hi,

1) In order to automatically translate a page after an update. Please go to WPML-> Translation Management, select the page, and send it to automatic translation.

Alternatively, you can use the Translate Everything mode. Kindly check this guide. (https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/)

2) You need to update the translation When you update a page's design in the default language using page builder.

If the changes are just design elements, you won't see them in the translation editor, but you need to update the translation by the following steps:

1- Update the page's design in the default language
2- Click on the "Spinning Arrows" icon to update the translation
3- You will see that it's 100% complete, so click the complete/save button
4- Check the translated page on the front end

If the above steps didn't help, Please share a screen-recorded video while reproducing the issue.

Best regards,
Osama
