Problem:
The client needed the correct currency abbreviation to show in the backend of WooCommerce orders when using WPML Multicurrency. Although the currency was displaying correctly on the frontend, the backend was not showing the proper currency abbreviation for orders.

Solution:
Step 1: To ensure that custom code executes only on the frontend and not in the admin area, we recommended using the

is_admin()

function. Here's an example of how to implement it:

function addPriceSuffix($format, $currency_pos) {
    if( !is_admin() ) {
        switch ( $currency_pos ) {
            case 'left' :
                $currency = get_woocommerce_currency();
                $format = '%1$s%2$s '.$currency;
            break;
        }
    }
    return $format;
}

Step 2: We clarified that WPML Multicurrency (WCML) does not display the currency code in the backend by default. To achieve this, custom code is necessary.
