Background of the issue:
I have 4 LANGUAGES. I need to update am image in a page or product. I delete the image at Media in all 4 languages and upload the new image with the same name in German (1 Language). Then I go to the page or Product in German and load the new image. I start the automatic translation. The translation "Traffic signs" stay at the gear symbol. Now it "creates let's say "media files" in all language at the media folder. See screenshot. Creation does not stop, as long as the gear symbol rotates. I can stop it by deleting the translations only.

Symptoms:
This is a new problem. I guess with the latest version of WPML Media Translation.

We were disconnected from the chat so I've converted it into a ticket so that we could follow.

Please share temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Sorry for the delay, but I did not get an Email when you write a response. But I got the message, that the Ticket will be closed soon. Is there any switch I missed to set?

And sorry, that Updraft clone it is so slow.

I just recorded the Issue. You have to download the first Image at the Medias first and copy the Alt Text. Then delete the Image at all 4 Languages at the medias. Switch to German and go the All Products. The Product the Image was previously inserted is "Schmelzpunktstandard Vanillin PSS". Edit this file, go to Product gallery and upload the saved image and set the copied text to all 4 input fields at the media file. Save the Product. Call the Transaltion in Englisch and save. Call the other 2 Translations and save. Now the automatic images will be visible at media files. Switch to the other languages at media library.

maybe you have to go back to all Prducts in German. You see the turning circles. During this period the Special Entries at Media library will be created. Then go back to media library in English or French, Spanish.

3. If the archive file exceeds 400MB, please use Duplicator's file filters to exclude cache, wp-uploads directory, media, and archive files.

Once you have the archive file ready, kindly share the link with us. You can utilize platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar for file sharing, as the snapshot file might be large.

Hi Kor, thanks for your Feedback. I like to mention, that kruess.coachthemes.com is our staging site and we are still working on it (Filling in Products, doing translations, etc.) and we are close to life. Please do not delete anything.

Colleges were wondering, that they could not work with Elementor Page builder, because it was switched off. Please reactive the Plugins again, if you or your colloques are testing at the site.

I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I have feedback from our 2nd tier Support and suspected this could be caused by some bugs. I am being told to replicate this on our sandbox site. In the meantime, is it possible that you clone the site to another staging site so that I could use it as a reference without interrupting your current site that your colleague is working on?

Hi Cor, I already duplicated it as an updraft plus clone. Shall I do this again?

I have another small problem and because you have already access to my site, it's easier to check. Problem is found in Product MKTV5-MIKROSKOPKAMERA. There is a headline made with HTML
<p>Headline</p>
<p>textbody</p>

The headline is not separated in the Translation editor and so it is not on a separated line in the translations. In Text Body there are more paragraph breaks with <p> </p> . It's like the translations ediitor doesn't take care about it any longer.

Hi Kor, to have quite the same environment, you need to activate the automatic translation. I hope you have an account for testing.

And you need to fill the Image Description, Caption, Titel and Alt Text.

And we have the "feeling", that it could have to do with the Glossary. The Problem first occurs after using the Glossary this year. So please create an Entry in the glossary and write this word into the Alt Text, Caption. In our environment we use the same phase for all 4 input fields in the image.

After that let the product be translated automatically - specially the Image attributes. then delete the Image and upload it with the same name again and change the Image attributes (Alt-Text, Caption, etc.) Start the translation of the product again.

I hope, we will reproduce the problem on an "clean" environment.
