Almost everyday when I logged into my wordpress/woocommerce, I get a warning under dashboard that says "WPML could not load configuration files, which your site needs."
When I clik retry, it doesn't work. If I click see detailed error log, it shows the following:

I am not even sure what time zone this date and time happened. I hope there isn't any issue with my site while I was not log into wordpress.

Thank you for contacting the support.

Apparently looks like there's a problem with your connection to the servers. I'll advise to ask your host to whitelist the following domains:
- wpml.org
- cdn.wpml.org
- api.wpml.org
- api.toolset.com
- cloudfront.net

I have already asked my hosting to whitelist the domains you have suggested. Yet I am still receiving this error.

WPML could not load configuration files, which your site needs.

Under detailed log, it states the same error:

On top of that, I also receive this error under my wordpress dashboard:
Redis encountered a fatal error: MISCONF Redis is configured to save RDB snapshots, but it is currently not able to persist on disk. Commands that may modify the data set are disabled, because this instance is configured to report errors during writes if RDB snapshotting fails (stop-writes-on-bgsave-error option). Please check the Redis logs for details about the RDB error. (code: 0)

Did you mean if they have confirmed about the whitelisting? Can you please confirm?

For the Redis error, I think you need to check with your hosting because apparently it looks like a configuration problem. If you get some details then I recommend opening a separate ticket because as per forum policy we can only handle one issue per ticket. So you can get more to the point help, without mixing up several issues in one long ticket.

Please let me know about the whitelisting of domains (original/first) issue.

Can you please try the followings?

IMPORTANT: Take full backup of your website and database beforehand.

- Go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting > and clear the WPML cache.
- Go to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial and click "Check for updates". And wait for the page to reload.
- Then unregister WPML.
- Delete the existing site key for this site, in your wpml.org account (https://wpml.org/account/sites/).
- Create a new site key.
- Register WPML with new site key in Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial.
- Clear all caches, log out and login back again.

Please let me know if this solves the problem or I'll try my best to further assist you on the matter.

May I ask for admin access to your website to check the issue in detail? You can create a separate admin user for this purpose, which can be deleted afterwards.

Also provide detailed steps to reproduce the issue and links to pages in admin and on frontend.

Remember to take full backup of your website and database before proceeding. However, a staging/test site is highly recommended, because I may need to try some changes/fixes on the site (including plugins & themes deactivation), which may cause conflicts with the live site otherwise.

Please confirm it in your next reply or let me know if you do not agree with the mentioned.

Thank you for the access.

I was able to observe the problem. Looks like it was somehow due to a caching problem, as well as, some communication breakup between WPML servers and your site.

Although cURL was fine.

So I tried followings:

- Cleared the caches.
- Added your user as a Translator in WPML -> Translation Management -> Translators
- Resaved permalinks (without making any change).

And now the error is gone and I can see WPML fetching subscriptions and plugins list successfully in Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial (see attached).

Please check and confirm.

The problem still persists, please view attached screen shot.

May I ask what exactly is this error? What does it mean when connection is timeout? Does it mean my webpage cannot show the correct translation when a visitor visits my shop and pages?

Connection times out mean that the target server didn't send a response in the due time.

Can you please try the following?

1) Unregister the site from wpml.org account ( just delete it )
2) Create a new key
3) Use the following constants with the new key, in your wp-config.php:

define( 'OTGS_INSTALLER_SITE_KEY_WPML', 'your-site-key' );
define('OTGS_DISABLE_AUTO_UPDATES', true);
