This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Dear Noman
you helped us yesterday with a workaround, since the theme author of our theme "ecademy" has not implemented the support for WPML translation management in the custom elementor elements in his theme. So we deactivated the WPML translation management for all website content. Now we are duplicating the pages and posts and afterwards turning off the WPML synchronisation. So the pages in the other languages are "disconnected" from the page in the original language.
Now my question:
If in the future the theme author will implement the support of WMPL translation management for his elementor elements: Is it possible to reactivate the WPML translation management for all pages or will the translated content be lost afterwards? If it is possible, how can we achieve that, since the translated pages are disconnected from the original page?

Solution:
For the translations that you made through the manual editor, you'll lose their translations if you switch to the Translation Editor. By loading it in ATE or CTE, all fields will be empty and you'll need to re-do the job.

Our recommendation is that you stick to the manual editor for those translations. When the theme became compatible with WPML, you can use the Translation Editor for the new translations by enabling this option on WPML -> Settings -> Translation Editor.
