if i replace one brand name in post that has already been translated with another (both brand names are not supposed to be translated and are added to the glossary) and translate the post again, will I have to pay for translation again?

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Privacy and Security Policy

We have strict policies regarding privacy and access to your information. Please see:
https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/

**IMPORTANT**

- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.

- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: hidden link

Unfortunately it looks like I can't see revisions on pages and posts, so I was not able to compare a previous version.

Please try this. I can see the current credits used are 4,177,430. Please create a test post with ONLY the brand name that you recently udpated. No other content, just a post with the brand name Immediate 3.0 ePrex (V 300). Then send this to translation, and let's check the credit count as well as I can then check the translation of this test page to see what credits were used on.

Please let me know once this is done, and the name of the test post, so that I can double check. Thanks!

I was not allowed to perform tests on that site, but I have created a test post on the other one. The post contained a post title, an H2 and a paragraph as seen on screenshot (Test Post before changes). Phrase 'Quantum Bot' I have added to the Glossary and no credits were debited for translation of that post into 3 languages. Then I have added 'Pro' to each element and also added phrase 'Quantum Bot Pro' to the Glossary and it has debited 12 credits for translating the post into 1 language. should it be like that?

I have tested this as well on a clean install and I found that using the glossary terms did not subtract any credits. Here are my findings and steps. Link to login to test site: hidden link

1. Set up test site and I have 37916 credits available.
2. Go to WPML -> Translation Management -> Tools -> Glossary and add the term in English Quantum Bot.
3. Add the translation for the glossary term Quantom Bot ES.
4. Create a test page with title, paragraph and H1 that all say Quantum Bot.
5. Translate this page. In the Advanced Translation Editor, I see Quantum Bot highlighted in blue and when I hover over it shows the suggested term. I used the suggested term for the translation. After the page was 100% translated, no credits were subtracted.
6. Go to Translation Management -> Tools -> Glossary and edit the original term Quantum Bot and change it to Quantum Bot Pro.
7. Edit the Spanish glossary term translation to Quantum Bot Pro ES.
8. Update the original page and change Quantum Bot in all three places to Quantum Bot Pro.
9. Update the translated page and again see the items highlighed in blue, and the suggested term. Translated the 3 strings using the suggested term and page was 100% complete. No credits were subtracted.

Can you tell me if this was the same work flow you were using? Feel free to use the link above to login and test on this staging site.

The work flow was basically the same, the only thing is that I have translated the post from Translation Management Dashboard and not from within advanced translation editor. I also work with Post, not Page (not sure if it makes any difference). But when i open the advanced translation editor I also see the terms highlighted in blue with suggested translations as added to the Glossary.
Also when I open translation of the next secondary language (Chinese) on my site I see this post like on screenshot. But I did not translate this post to this language yet. Only to the first secondary language (Bulgarian). Why is the translation of third segment in progress and it says "Quantum Bot" without changes? Should I translate the post from within the translation editor instead the translation management dashboard?
By the way I can grant you temporary access to this site, so you could check it out yourself.

Do you have the glossary term translated to Chinese in WPML -> Translation Management -> Tools -> Glossary?

if you would like to share access you can do so in the next reply which I have marked as private.

I apologize for missing your previous reply, I somehow missed notification. I just tried to access your site but I get a message that I am blocked, so I am not able to login. Do you need an IP? Or could you disable the block temporarily?
