I am trying to translate Related posts words but no luck. I did the thing with theme and plugin localization but no luck with translation Related posts?

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

1) Could you please let me know how this string is created? Also, please try the following steps:

1- Go to WPML-> String Translation
2- Scroll down and enable the "Look for strings while pages are rendered" feature
3- Go to the front end in the default language and refresh the page
4- After the refresh, please go to String Translation
5- Search for the string and translate it

Kindly check our guide to know more about translating texts in the admin texts screen. (https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/)

If the above steps didn't help, please check the following steps:

1- Go to WPML-> Theme and plugins localization, select your theme/plugin, and scan
2- Go to WPML-> String Translation
3- Scroll down and click on the "Translate texts in admin screens »" link
4- Search for the needed strings
5- Select the strings
6- Click on the "Add to String Translation" button
7- Then click on "the « Return to String Translation" link
8- Translate the strings, clear the cache, and check the front end

2) It's not related to the issue, but according to your Debug.info, the WP memory limit needs to be increased. PHP memory is fine, but WordPress uses 40Mb as default. Minimum requirements for WPML are 128Mb. (Kindly check this page https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/)

Add this to the top of wp-config.php to increase WP memory:

/** Memory Limit */
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

I hope this helps you. If you need further info, please let me know.

Best regards,
Osama

Hi,

I would need to take a closer look at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
– preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible –

Please don’t share with us your administrator account. Take a minute to create a new administrator account for WPML support and share with us this login. When we finish troubleshooting your account, please delete the account that you have created for us.

in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed

Your next answer will be private, which means only you and I have access to it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme and change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Thanks for your cooperation

Regards,
Osama

Hi,

Thanks for the access details. I've checked the issue and found that the string "Related Posts" is added to the post editing screen, so to translate it, please edit the post and change it. (Kindly check the attached screenshot)

Would you please translate the string by the mentioned approach above and let me know if that fixed the issue?

I hope this helps you. If you need further info, please let me know.

Best regards,
Osama
