Extension Description<\/h2>\n

This extension adds a new taxonomy named \u201cBrands\u201d to WooCommerce, allowing users to categorize their products into desired brands. Each brand can be named, described, and assigned an image to. The brands can then be filtered, displaying all their products.<\/p>\n

Create a new brand<\/h2>\n

A new submenu item appears under the main\u00a0Products<\/strong>\u00a0section. From there, the users can create as many Brands as they like.<\/p>\n

Assigning a brand to a product<\/h2>\n

When editing a product, a user can check the desired brands in the new Brands<\/strong>\u00a0metabox.<\/p>\n

Translating Brands<\/h2>\n

Brands can be translated from the WCML GUI. Click on the Custom Taxonomies<\/strong>\u00a0tab and select Brands<\/strong>\u00a0from the dropdown. Here you can translate all the brands in the same manner that you\u00a0translate product categories.<\/p>\n

Synchronizing brands parents and thumbnail images<\/h2>\n

To enable the synchronization of brands parents and thumbnail images, the user should check the Sync taxonomy (e.g. category) parents<\/strong>\u00a0option from WPML –<\/strong>> Translation Management <\/strong>-> Multilingual Content Setup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Once this option is enabled, the brands parents and thumbnail images will be automatically synchronized after each brand is translated.<\/p>\n
