When I noticed what&#8217;s happening, I hardly believed it. Tried again and it really works. Chrome recognizes WordPress sites and uses their search feature!<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a video that shows how it works:<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9\"><iframe width=\"525\" height=\"394\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0LzBMUJnN1w?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>This is what I&#8217;m doing:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In Chrome, go to the address bar and type in the site&#8217;s URL<\/li>\n<li>Add a space<\/li>\n<li>Enter a search string. I typed in\u00a0<em>&#8222;wpml.org getting started&#8220;<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Chrome redirects me to the WordPress search URL:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/wpml.org\/?s=getting+started&amp;lang=en\">http:\/\/wpml.org\/?s=getting+started&amp;lang=en<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>From what I can tell, Chrome remembers my surfing history. Once I&#8217;ve run a search on a WordPress site, it understands that this is possible.
