Overview of the issue

When you remove a product category from a product, the category count is correctly updated in the original language, but it remains unchanged in the translated languages.

Although the term relationship is removed correctly for translated products, the category count is not synchronized. This results in incorrect product counts being displayed for categories in secondary languages.

Workaround

You can manually synchronize the category counts by recounting terms:

  • Go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools section.
  • Click on Recount terms.

This action recalculates category product counts and restores consistency across all languages.
