WPResidence - Translating custom post type permalinks is not possible

Overview of the issue

When using WPResidence with WPML, you might experience an issue where the Properties custom slug cannot be translated. The translations are not saved correctly, and the warning about missing Properties slug translations remains in “WPML > Settings”.

Workaround

Please, make sure of having a full site backup of your site before proceeding.

• Open the …/wp-content/plugins/wpresidence-core/post-types/property/property-post-type.php file.
• Look for line 16.
• Replace:

   
  add_action('init', 'wpestate_create_property_type', 20);
  

• With:

   
  add_action('init', 'wpestate_create_property_type', 10);
