Resolved

Overview of the issue

Since version 1.0.2 of Yoast SEO Multilingual all pages in the secondary languages are not found.

Workaround

If you are not using Yoast redirects (a premium feature) you can downgrade to version 1.0.1 to resolve it.

We will be releasing an update soon with a solution.

Version 1.0.3 has just been released.

    • We have a fix which we are testing and will be released in the next few days. The temporary workaround is to downgrade to the former version.

      • Hallo,

        • Hi, I have used Google translate so I hope I am not wrong here (we do not have anyone that speaks Dutch here). Anyway – we are working on a fix and it should be available ASAP, meanwhile, if you downgrade you can continue using WPML & Yoast normally and none of your data will be removed. I hope that helps.

  1. Disabling the Yoast SEO Multilingual plug-in did the trick for us, and brought back the site online. Looking forward for the fix…

  2. Is there any workaround ?

Also, is the Yoast SEO Multilingual actually needed for WPML latest version ? Ive read conflicting information on the forum.

  3. I deactivated the plugin. Would have been nice to receive a notification on this issue… will I at least receive a plugin update reminder when it’s deactivated?

  4. I have this issue and deactivated the plugin. Then the site works fine – however I’m unsure if the Yoast Plugin info will be translated in the future…

    Do I need the plugin?

    • Hi Peter if you do not plan to translate the Yoast texts then you do not need the plugin, anyway just by deactivating the plugin you do not lose any data.

  5. “if you do not plan to translate the Yoast texts”

what do you mean by this ? are you refering to the actual Yoast META DESCRIPTION and TITLE of the pages/posts ?

  6. wp-seo-multilingual 1.0.3 was just released
