Elementor PRO – Popup triggered by Global Widget not translated on the frontend

Overview of the issue

When using Elementor PRO with WPML, a popup that is triggered by a global widget button may appear in the default language instead of the translated version on the front end.

Workaround

We are aware of this issue and our developers are working on a permanent fix. In the meantime, you can manually edit the translation:

• Make sure the popup template has been translated.
• Open the translated page (the one with the button) in the Elementor editor.
• Edit the global widget button and click «Unlink» to convert it into a regular widget.
• Re‑select the correct translated popup template and save.

Clear Elementor’s cache and purge all caches.
