This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported an issue where after translating content from English to Thai using WPML and Elementor, some characters were missing or appeared as a weird dashed-circle on the live site, despite looking correct in the WPML Language translator dashboard and Elementor.
Solution:
We suggested that the client try using a similar title in a simple Elementor header widget without character splitting to see if the issue persists. Additionally, we recommended adding the same text to a default page widget to check if it displays correctly there. If these steps do not resolve the issue, it might be due to the specific character handling in Elementor when used with Thai language.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.

Hi, i've made a translation from English to Thai, when its done in the WPML Language translator dashboard or even Elementor it seems to be fine however once i've saved the changes and view it on the live site, it seems like some of the characters are missing or replaced with a weird dashed-circle.

Here's the link to of the specific page that Im referring to: hidden link

You may look at the page title and the CTA above the footer

I've also shared a screenshot for the comparison in the WPML language editor and Elementor Page builder

Hello sharveenL,

Welcome to WPML support. I'd be happy to help you with this.

It looks like the character splitting used by elementor there is creating the issue, but I am not 100% sure, so can you use a similar title on a simple elementor header widget without splitting and see it helps.

Also, I want you to add the same text in splitting widget in default page and see if it works there.

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks
