This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
After installing WPML and trying to translate a site using The Gem theme and Elementor, the client is experiencing issues where the homepage appears almost empty, and pages, posts, and categories have disappeared from the backend. The menu on the front end is also non-functional.
Solution:
We recommend checking if the pages are missing language information. You can do this by navigating to WPML → Support → Troubleshooting and clicking on the option "Set language information". If the problem continues, we have enabled debug information for this support ticket. Please follow the instructions on how to retrieve this information from your site and provide it to us by visiting http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I have installed WPML and tried to translate my site. The site is made with The Gem theme using Elementor. I have read the documentation on your site.

Symptoms:
In the front end, I can only see my menu, which doesn't work at all, and in the backend, I have lost all my pages. I can see that there are 11 pages, but there are 0 in English, 0 in Greek, and 0 in all pages. I have lost my homepage.

Questions:
Why is my homepage almost empty after installing WPML?
Why have my pages, posts, and categories disappeared in the backend?
How can I restore my pages in both English and Greek?
Why is my menu not working after using WPML?
