Hola,

la web va muy muy lenta ... he probado a desactivar los plugins uno a uno y claramente la lentitud viene de WPML. He instalado Query Monitor y me salen muchas Slow Querys desde WMPL.

Podeis ayudarme?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

I apologize for not responding in the Spanish - let me know if you prefer a Spanish supporter. However, can you please check this answer:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/lots-of-load-on-mysql-server/#post-3993563

WPML does add some load to the overall performance and there are queries that cannot be avoided due to nature on how it works, however to our experience most of the slowness, especially in the backend of the site, comes from string translation plugin and that is something that will be changed thoroughly in upcoming versions of the plugin.

In the meantime, can have a look at my answer above and try what I have suggested to the client?

Regards,
Bruno Kos

Hi,

In this case, you can do the following:

1) export translations you have made into .po files using the procedure I outlined in the image (WPML -> string translation -> export .po file and selects translations to be exported as well)
2) follow this to load them without string translation, so directly from the plugin/theme folder (perhaps you could also ask plugin/theme developers if they have some special/modified ways to load translations)
