Hi there, Thank you for getting back to us, and thanks for leaving Snap-8 as it is. That helped. First, the image repair did not cause the translation marks. I ran the same process on my copy of your site and checked before and after. It creates image records only. It does not flag products and it does not create translation jobs. What you're seeing is the same problem I described before, showing up on other products. Snap-8 has only ever been translated in the Classic editor. It has never been through the Advanced editor, so there's no memory of it there. That's why the fields come up empty and why it wants to charge you. On your site 35 products are in that state. Your own screenshot shows the difference: NAD+ has a pencil icon because it has been through the Advanced editor, and Snap-8 has the update arrows because it hasn't. The part that matters for your question about variants: this is a one-time cost per product, not a recurring one. I checked 450 re-translations on your site. When a product had already been through the Advanced editor, the re-translation cost an average of 279 credits and sometimes nothing. When it had only been in Classic, it averaged 894. So once a product has gone through once, editing it afterward is much cheaper. A job sitting in the queue doesn't charge you. In your screenshot those Snap-8 jobs say "Take and Translate", which means they're waiting for you. The credits go when the translation actually runs. One thing I want to check before you spend anything: whether automatic translation is set to run by itself on your site. If it is, edits could start translations without you clicking. Can you go to WPML > Configuración and tell me what the translation mode is set to? That decides whether you can edit your products freely or need to change a setting first. |

Hi Mohamed, Thank you for your quick response. I really appreciate the effort you are making to help me with this issue. However, you keep referring to the Advanced Editor or Classic Editor as if this were a voluntary decision I made. I honestly do not know exactly what you mean, since all credits are being used against enlace oculto. If we focus on the facts, I have already translated text that are marked with a missing translation signal. As a result, I have to run the translations again when I already have many other things to deal with. billing me again for translation credits I have already paid for is only 50% of the problem in this situation. What I need is a solution that prevents me from having to keep chasing ghost translations and repeatedly checking whether content that was supposedly translated is actually missing. I am sending you the configuration. I understand why you want to check the automatic translation mode, but I am a little confused as to why you are asking me to verify this. You already have access to the WordPress admin, so you should be able to check the current setting directly. I would prefer that you review the configuration directly, as this will also avoid any misunderstanding about which setting is currently active. |

Hi there, Thank you for getting back to us. First, please forget what I said about the Classic editor. I checked your job records and that editor has never been used on your site, not once. I misread something on our side and sent you looking for a decision you never made. That one is on me and I'm sorry. Second, I went and checked your settings and your account myself, as you asked. You're right that you're being charged for work that was already done. On your Tirzepatida product, our own records show only 35 words actually needed translating, but the job was priced as if it were 358. So this isn't you doing something wrong, and you're not imagining it. There is one thing you can change today that stops the worst of it. In WPML > Configuración, under Automatic translation, this option is switched on: "Yes, translate automatically as soon as the Translation Editor opens" That is why simply opening a job to look at it costs you credits. Set it to "No, wait for me to start the translation" and save. After that you can open anything and check it for free, which should stop the chasing. The word count problem itself is now with our developers. Best, |
