Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. For some reason WP admin page is not opening for the site. Below are the 2 solutions that should help you in this case:

METHOD 1 --
We have another client who had the similar issue and was also able to solve it, this may help in your case::: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/how-to-translated-cookie-consent-plugin/#post-1536945

METHOD 2: --
The cookie Text needs to be translated using String Translation. Please try the following steps after taking a backup:

1- Go to WPML >> Strings Translation

2- Click the link 'Translate texts in admin screens »' (you'll find it at the bottom of the page)

3- You'll see a page with a large list of text strings. These are all the registered Admin options. Try to find your text here. Take in mind that it can be inside a theme/plugin section. If so, try to click the link to check all its options. Specially you need to look for options named something like “cookie” OR “cookie_notice” OR something similar to this. If you find your option there, select its checkbox and click Apply button (bottom of the page).

4- Once done you should see the string registered in WPML >> Strings Translation. Then you'll simply need to translate it and mark it as complete.

Here is doc for more details:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-theme-options/

Please let me know if this resolves your issue or you need further assistance. Thank you

He comprado:
sitepress-multilingual-cms.4.2.4.1.zip y wpml-media-translation.2.5.1.zip

¿Tengo comprar además el plugin WPML String Translation? ¿Cuánto cuesta?

Gracias!

Hi,

If you want to translate strings using GUI then you would need to install WPML String Translation. Please note WPML String Translation is not included in the Blog license, so you will need to upgrade if you want to translate Theme Options or any other strings: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/

You can see price inside your account using upgrade license button.

With blog license you can display language specific code using some custom code in your theme. You can use ‘ICL_LANGUAGE_CODE’ constant to get current language code.

First, you should find how your theme/plugin is showing that string. Then you can use following code to display language specific content:

<?php if(ICL_LANGUAGE_CODE == 'en'){ ?>
                  English language string goes here
<?php } else{ ?>
                 Secondary language string goes here
<?php } ?>

Thank you
