If the issue persists, please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your site (preferably staging site), so that I can look into your setup and debug the issue. Your next answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it. === Please backup your database and website === ✙ I would need your permission to deactivate and reactivate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site. Good evening. We have just received a message from the client stating that the website has not been looking good for quite some time. It seems you are currently working on an issue with the WPML plugin activation. Could you please let us know how much longer this will take? Unfortunately, it is not acceptable for the client for the site to remain in this state for a prolonged period. Perhaps if the issue cannot be resolved quickly, it would be better to set up a testing environment with an exact copy of the current one for you? |

Unfortunately, the client insists that we revert all changes if the issue is not resolved within the next 15 minutes. If a solution cannot be found in that timeframe, I suggest we set up a testing environment for you. Please acknowledge receipt of this message. |

Thanks for the update and for letting me know, I restored the site. Yes, please provide access to a staging or test environment so I can continue debugging this issue safely without affecting the live site. As a temporary workaround, you can take a full backup, then remove the existing WPML plugins and install version 4.7.3 from here: https://wpml.org/download/wpml-multilingual-cms/?section=changelog You should be able to configure WPML successfully without the AI configuration step in this version. Once configured, you can then update all WPML plugins to the latest release. Please confirm once the staging environment is ready or if you prefer to proceed with the workaround on the live site.
