Problem: The client needed to know which specific database tables or entries to update in order to change the language switcher settings across multiple subsites using an SQL statement. Solution: We informed the client that the relevant data and configuration for the language switcher are stored in the
xx_options
table under the option named
wpml_language_switcher
. We advised that if they copy this data from the staging site without any changes to menu orders or other settings, it should work correctly.
