Problem: The client's website is set up with English pages and Spanish translations under the '/es/' URL prefix. However, WPML is adding an extra language code suffix to the URLs of taxonomy archive pages, resulting in URLs like 'https://uncorkmexico.com/es/tienda/varietal/nebbiolo-es/' instead of the expected 'https://uncorkmexico.com/es/tienda/varietal/nebbiolo/'.
Solution: If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you try the following steps: 1. Navigate to WPML > Taxonomy Translation. 2. Use the dropdown menu to select the Taxonomy that contains the Category. 3. Locate and edit the Spanish translation of the "Nebbiolo" taxonomy. 4. In the editing popup, you will find a field labeled 'slug'. Remove any extra parts from the slug and save your changes.
Problem: If you're experiencing an issue where bundled products added to the cart show a price of $0 after switching languages, this is a known behavior with complex products using the WPC Product Bundles for WooCommerce plugin. Solution: We recommend disabling cart item synchronization between languages. You can do this by following the steps in our documentation:
When I hit complete it refreshes the page but the product doesn't translate. It's stuck with the "refreshing translation status" icon. It also doesn't create a new product in the second language under the woocommerce --> products --> spanish language tab.
I tried the same process for 3 different products, all have the same issue.
