Hello,
Thank you for contacting WPML support.

Could you tell me if the issue persists after deactivate WPML plugins?

Kind regards,
Carlos

After disabling all the WPML plugins the site breaks. Appears only the first line of the header and a big blank page.

After enabling back wpml plugins, all came back to normality, but those pages are still 404

Hi there,
Thank you very much for your feedback.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Best regards,
Carlos

Hi there,

There is a pop up that appears when I try to access the site. Could you edit your previous message (the private one) and provide the credentials for this popup?

Please let me know when this is done.

Best regards,
Carlso

Hi,
Thank you very much for removing the popup.

Please finish the WPML Media setup by clicking in the link in the message 'The WPML Media Translation setup is almost complete. Click here to finish the setup.' at the top of the dashboard pages. Then update all outdated plugins specially WPML plugins.

Once you finished the steps above, does the issue persists?

Best regards,
Carlos

Hi,

Please follow this steps:
- Make a full backup of the site.
- Update all outdated plugins and themes.
- Flush all cache memory.
- Go to WPML -> Settings -> 'Media Translation' section -> Click on 'Apply' button and then on 'Start' button.

Please let me know the result of this steps.
Best regards,
Carlos

Hi, I did it. It too long, it had to duplicate more than 100.000 items.
I completed, but still the same.
Please note that there is not cache problem. Server side caching is disabled, caching plugin off, and I tried on different computers and browsers.

Hi there,
Thank you very much for your feedback.

I would like to ask your authorization to create a copy of the site in order to make further tests on a local environment without affecting the live site.

Best regards,
Carlos

Hi,
Thank you very much for updating the plugins.

I just created a copy of the site and my next step will be to try to reproduce the issue in a local environment and isolate its cause.

I will get back to you as soon as I have an answer.

Best regards,
Carlos
