This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is experiencing 404 errors on translated WooCommerce product categories and issues with product variations not working correctly on translated products.
Solution:
We recommend changing the category slug to a different one and translating it to see if this resolves the issue. If the problem persists, please follow these steps:
1. Deactivate all plugins except for WPML CMS, String Translation, WooCommerce, and WooCommerce Multilingual.
2. Switch to a default WordPress theme, such as Twenty Twenty-One.
3. Resave the permalinks.
Please conduct these tests in a staging environment, not on your live site. You can create a staging environment using the WP Staging plugin.
If the issue remains unresolved or if you encounter other problems, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the solution provided here becomes irrelevant or does not apply to your case, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
