Problem: I get this error when visiting some of the pages of my site: AH00124: Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use 'LimitInternalRecursion' to increase the limit if necessary. Use 'LogLevel debug' to get a backtrace. Solution: Our developers are working to fix this issue. In the meantime, to solve it you need to re-save the Permalinks from Settings -> Permalinks

This is only for your info as I already have the solution. As I encountered it a second time 2 days ago, I thin I should inform you of my previous findings.

A couple of weeks ago, while working on woocommerce multilingual, I encountered a 500 internal server error, after getting my host to verify it, they came back with the following server errorlog:
[Sat Jul 07 21:08:59.613430 2018] [core:error] [pid 8053:tid 140662638225152] [client xxx.xxx.95.195:51738] AH00124: Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use 'LimitInternalRecursion' to increase the limit if necessary. Use 'LogLevel debug' to get a backtrace.

After reading the error log, I suspected it was something to do with the permalink, so what I did was to go to settings-->permalink-settings, clicked save settings. And the 500 internal error disappeared.

2 days ago, I was also working on woocommerce multilingual, and 500 internal server occurred again, this time I have no idea what I did, but a re-save of the permalink bring the server back to normal again. The following can easily reproduce the 500 internal server error whiched I have encountered the first time.

Edit the Shop page for the secondary language, change the status of the Shop page from "Publish" to "Draft" or vice versa, update the change. After that, immediately visit the page, and all links gives 500 internal server error.

The above can be reproduced easily on both my 2 websites that is located in different hosting servers by 2 different hosting companies.

Hello,

I asked for more details about this specific case. In the meantime, can you please confirm that you are using the following steps to reproduce?
- Edit the Shop page for the secondary language
- Change the status of the Shop page from "Publish" to "Draft" or vice versa
- Update the change.

It would be even better if you can open a new ticket and assign it directly to me or post here the link.

Thank you
