Hello,

Do you have any particular cache setup on the server-side?

I'm seeing a few blocked jobs from WPML and it seems it's happening because of cache. the debug log is full of issues like this:

[13-Aug-2025 12:02:35 UTC] objectcache.notice: The cache key `af87fac234541eef540df0a1d1241ca7:0.40683600 1755073231` is incompatible with prefetching and the group `creatives` should be added to the list of non-prefetchable groups. For more information see: <em><u>hidden link</u></em>

Interestingly they started more or less yesterday i think it was at night. Now it seems something is failing with the cache, since as you can see it's not really working with a lot of keys. WPML ask for that info, gets the keys which are not compatible and fails. as a result it's blocking you on our end because of errors.

I suspect it happened because of the timeouts and if that's the case a simple flush of that object cache would probably do (I guess you turned on Redis, right? i remember it was disabled before).

Would you be able to do that so I can see if that helps?

Redis shouldn't cause issues if it's correctly configured but for now, try to flush it and let's see if the errors continue, ok? if you have a developer, ask them to take a look at the debug.log and check if it's worth adding some keys to the exception list 🙂

We, on our part are aware of some possible object cache issue which should be fixed soon, but they are different from the ones you're currently experiencing which is hitting WPML as well but indirectly.

Ok, I can see the site is not being blocked anymore which is good. I'm running a few tests but so far most of the translations are already done. I'll check the arabic ones, because since they were in the trash, they still appeared as translated and the system ignored them.

I'm resending them at the moment. I'll come back with more info soon.

The pages in Arabic were translated.

There are a few things you might want to check:

- In the homepage the logo looks weird but it seems it's because of the CSS rules applied which mess things up when the layout is RTL, this applies mainly to the header. How is the header created? maybe the solution is an easy one 🙂

- The menu needs to be translated. I strongly suggest you leave this for last after you check that the pages in the menu are correctly translated. they are translated using the workflow from this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-menus/

Hello, other languages header is fine except the Arabic one, we are using elementor to build global header for the website, but it seems the arabic one is using astra theme header which is wrong. how to fix this?

Hello,

Ok, what's the name of the global header you're mentioning? because this would mean that the header needs to be retranslated into arabic.

However, is there a setting in astra that allows you to select elementor for the header instead of the standard from the theme? because if that's the case, then let me know where so I can check how can that be fixed. I suspect you have to switch to arabic in the language switcher from wp-admin (the one on the black topbar) and then go to the astra setting and change it to show the elementor template.

Let me know so I can check that out for you.

Oh i found the problem and it's the same with the arabic pages before: you or someone deleted some elementor template from arabic but didn't delete them permanently so of course they were not used.

I deleted them permanently and all you have to do is translate them again and they will show in the front-end.

I tried to do this myself but again, the site went down. you mentioned that you had a lot of RAM and CPU, right? could you repeat the specifications of your hosting? because i'm not sure why the site goes down so often. I mean, all that I did was delete 19 elementor templates from the trash.

Regards.

I don't know if you were working on the site or not but I saw that one of the issues for the site constantly breaking was the object cache plugin. it's throwing a lot of errors:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method WP_Object_Cache::pruneMeasurements() in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/object-cache-pro/src/Plugin/Schedule.php:102
Stack trace:
#0 /public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(324): RedisCachePro\Plugin->pruneAnalytics()
#1 /public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(348): WP_Hook->apply_filters()
#2 /public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php(565): WP_Hook->do_action()
#3 /public_html/wp-cron.php(191): do_action_ref_array()
#4 {main}
  thrown in /wp-content/plugins/object-cache-pro/src/Plugin/Schedule.php on line 102

I disabled the plugin and the entire site went online but also got super fast.

----------

EDIT: I already translated the header template and that fixed the issue.

I noticed that the main issue with the "stuck" jobs are a few ones:

- The pages are quite big and tend to go over the page limit we have (we've fixed this for you so you can send big pages without issues).

- There are some issues with images that are being encoded. it's not something you are doing, it's something the system seems to be doing (elmentor, WPML, WP, an add-on, we're researching where is this happening and why) and breaks the actual file before it's even sent to us. it seems the problem is with images in these products: hidden link

- As a result, our system blocks your site out of security (to avoid from WPML endlessly asking for content that will not arrive). I can always unblock you but that also happens if there's any other error since the files are not created correctly (when the site times out, for example).

- Which languages do you want to translate? so I can do it in a supervised way while we get to the bottom of this?

---------------------------

The main issue seems to be that deadlock in the database but we're trying to find out what is it that is leading to that deadlock, because it happens in very seemingly random moments, even when there aren't jobs or anything from WPML being sent.

I checked your site right now and I can see that all the languages were translated, with the exception of those 5 products i mentioned above.
