I am trying to: activate WPML String Translation

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

I expected to see: Plugin activated

Instead, I got: 504 error

Can you please paste your WPML Debug information in the Debug information field?

1. Please follow the debugging information provided here: .
2. Repeat the action of creating the problem (activating String Translation).
3. Share the debug.log (log file inside the /wp-content/ directory) here or using DropBox or GoogleDrive.

Can you also, switch to a default theme, deactivate all plugins except WPML plugins and test again.
