Tell us what you are trying to do?

Using a WordPress multisite install, I am trying to use WPML on one of the subsites while trying to use the "A different domain per language" option to utilize the subdomain URL structure for language switching.

The subsites in the multisite wordpress have no affiliation with each other, and I have ensured that there is no conflicting subdomain set up as a subsite install within the multisite.

But I am seeing the error "This option is not yet available for Multisite installs".

I want the WPML plugin to treat this site as if it weren't in a multisite install and utilize subdomains for language switching URLs. Is there anyway to achieve this?

Is there any documentation that you are following?

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-url-options/

https://wpml.org/documentation/support/multisite-support/#using-languages-in-domains-on-multisite

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-url-options/how-to-use-wpml-with-different-domains-per-language/

Is there a similar example that we can see?

No

What is the link to your site?

Adding the sunrise.php correctly resolves this issue.
