OK I'm still not 100% understanding this, but will have a go and see if it makes sense.

What I 100% don't understand is that I used my credits for the translation and ticked the box to translate everything - this doesn't seem to actually translate everything.

I'll let you know how I go

Yes, please let me know your results.

Regarding the credits, what was not translated? If the content was not translated you should not have been charged credits for it only actual translations.
