This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: Do we need absolutely to put ACF fields group to "make fields group translatable"? Solution: It is not necessary to translate Field Groups unless you want to translate the field labels (Field Label, Field Name, Instructions, Default Value, Placeholder Text, etc.) Relevant Documentation: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/#translating-field-groups

I am trying to:

Make my ACF fields translatable

I expected to see:

Error in admin.
I see errors in admin. I don't understand why.
I'm not sure my ACF translation are made correctly.

I found this documentation about setting.

Each time I change something on ACF fields, I have to repeat it in the translation language. Normal. Do we need absolutly to put ACF fields group to "make fields group translatable"?

Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

It is not necessary to translate Field Groups unless you want to translate the field labels (Field Label, Field Name, Instructions, Default Value, Placeholder Text, etc.)

https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/#translating-field-groups

As for the red exclamation warning, when you open any of those fields, set translation preference and save the field, are these still there?

Bruno Kos
