Problem: Editing the registry key of site

Solution: You cannot edit the site key. However, you can remove the previous key and create a new key. To do this:

- Go to the keys page: https://wpml.org/account/sites/ - Click on the trash icon to remove - To register a new key, follow the steps of our documentation: https://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/#register-wpml

Hello,

i would like to ask you something. I'm creating a new website for a client and it will have 3 languages. My client's first website is on the air.

When i add a Webiste on wpml ( https://wpml.org/account/sites/ ) it asks a website url. My question is, if i add a demo website url, may i change it to correct address when the new website will be on the original domain?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Dimitrios,

You can add more than one domain, if necessary. When the site is on the end domain, you must remove the key from the demo site and just update the original site.

In other words, you can not update the key, but you can remove it and add a new key of the final domain.

Please let me know if you are satisfied with my answer and if I can help you with any other questions you might have.

Thank you.
