Background of the issue:
I added a glossary item in WPML and attempted to update the content using the existing WPML glossary item. I clicked 'Update existing translations' to ensure all terms are updated. The issue can be seen on the following pages: hidden link and hidden link.

Symptoms:
Some terms were updated while others remained unchanged. I expected to see 'オカダ・マニラ' but instead got 'Okada Manila'.

Questions:
Why are some terms not updating after adding a glossary item?
How can I ensure all terms are updated correctly using WPML?

Hello,

Please note that:

By default, this feature can only update translations created in the past 30 days.

https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/how-to-create-and-manage-glossary-entries

May this be the reason for those translations not being updated? If that's the case, try this:
To update glossary terms in older translations, resend your content for translation via WPML → Translation Management. Remember that this translation method consumes credits.

Best Regards,
Otto
