I am trying to: update hidden link on a new development server hidden link

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: in the admin panel
First :
we get the message "There is a problem with the String Translation table in your site. This problem is not causing a problem running the site right now, but can become a critical issue in the future. WPML support team knows how to fix it. Please add a message in the relevant support thread and we'll fix it for you."

Second
When activating WPML String translation, the admin labels are all scrambled and messed up (see picture) so the only option is to erase this component manually with FTP.

This site was made 3/4 years ago and wasn't updated. The updates broke the content and WPML seems to be an important part in the troubles.

For FTP, if really needed, you'll need to provide us with and RSA Key as it is sftp
The ftp port is 444
The Ftp username is troublemakers-prod

Thanks for your time and support.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting WPML support.

1.- I would like to ask your authorization to make a copy of the site's database in order to send it to our specialists.

2.- Please increase the PHP Memory Limit. Minimum requirements are 128Mb: https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/
You can add this to wp-config.php to increase WP memory:

/** Memory Limit */
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M');
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M' );

- Add it above the line /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

Kind regards,
Carlos

Hello,

1 - Yes you can use it for debug purposes.
2 - We have increased the memory, no change.

Thanks in advance.

Carlos,
I can see someone has activated string translation, but I'm afraid the admin's labels are all still messed up (see left menu which makes no sense)
Or maybe you haven't implemented you debug yet.
Let me know.
Many Thanks.
Yann

Hi Carlos,
sorry but the activation of the plugin still has the same effect and disorganizes the back end. There is, after activation, a message regarding NAMIBIE and NEPAL + a recommandation to update the components taht are already up to date.
See pictures before and after activation for more info.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Yann,
Thank you for your message.

This warning message that appears in the backend should be a message that got stuck in the database (because the plugins are up-to-date). To remove this message you just need to connect to the database -> Look for the wp_options table (assuming the database prefix is wp) -> Search and delete the row that have this message.

Please let me know if you need my help to accomplish this task.
Regards,
Carlos

This is not resolved and the error message is not the primary concern. Do I need to open a new ticket?
