You are unable to save a translation using the Advanced Translation Editor. When you try to save, nothing happens.

We recommend checking if a link for the texts is missing in your translation setup. Adding the necessary link as indicated in the documentation might resolve the issue. If you're experiencing this, please refer to the Advanced Translation Editor documentation for detailed guidance.

If this solution does not apply because it's outdated or not relevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to save a translation using the Advanced Translation Editor. Here is the link to the page where the issue can be seen: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/

Symptoms:
When I attempt to save the translation, nothing happens.

Questions:
Why can't I save the translation using the Advanced Translation Editor?
I cannot assign both strong and link to the same text.
Is there a specific step I am missing in the process?

Thanks for getting in touch.

From the screenshot you provided, it appears that a link for the texts is missing, as shown in the attached image. Adding the highlighted link should resolve the issue. Could you please give that a try?

Hi. What you are saying is not working: you cannot apply strong and link on the same elemnt. If you press ALT+18 (strong) on the selection then ALT+2 (link) on the same selecton, the ALT+1 (strong) will be removed.
