I am trying to: update all WPML plugins

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: alle

I expected to see: succesfull update

Instead, I got: a site that stops working due to technical problems (seen on homepage)

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. To take a closer look on this issue, please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your site (preferably staging site), so that I can look into your setup and debug the issue.

Your next answer will be private which means only you and I have access to it.

✙ I would additionally need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important.

- I have increased your site memory by adding below code in wp-config.php file:

/* WP Memory Limit */
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

- Enabled error reporting in your site by adding below code in wp-config.php file:

 // Enable WP_DEBUG mode
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );

// Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file
define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );

// Disable display of errors and warnings 
define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );
@ini_set( 'display_errors', 0 );

// Use dev versions of core JS and CSS files (only needed if you are modifying these core files)
define( 'SCRIPT_DEBUG', true );

- Then activated WPML String Translation plugin and your site frontend/backend working perfectly fine.

Could you please check and confirm?

Still theme options of Jupiter theme is not working.
According to theorie support WPML is causing issues due to the updates.
Can you check again please?

Hi,

I have fixed this issue by doing below steps:
- Installed ARI Adminer plugin
- Went to *_icl_strings database table
- Find entry with id:0 and deleted that row

Now your site working perfectly fine. Could you please check and confirm?
