Hi there and thank you for bearing with me for all these days until I was able to finally reproduce the issue, even on a clean install.

I can confirm that this issue was escalated to the Compatibility team and I am currently waiting for an answer from them.

As the weekend is coming, we might not have a response until the beginning of next week but I wanted to let you know that this was escalated.

I am setting the status of this ticket to "Escalated to Compatibility team" and I will get back to you as soon as there's any feedback on the internal ticket.

Besides the 2 workarounds that you had already (deactivating WCML or adding the SEO text from the Products listing page pencil edit icons), the team also found a new one.

Modify "all-in-one-seo-pack-pro/aioseop_class.php" Lines 5104 - 5119:

From:

  foreach ( $optlist as $field_name ) {
                $field = "aiosp_$field_name";
                if ( isset( $_POST[ $field ] ) ) {
                    $$field = $_POST[ $field ];
                }

            delete_post_meta( $id, "_aioseop_{$field_name}" );
        }

        foreach ( $optlist as $field_name ) {
            $var   = "aiosp_$field_name";
            $field = "_aioseop_$field_name";
            if ( isset( $$var ) && ! empty( $$var ) ) {
                add_post_meta( $id, $field, $$var );
            }
        }

To:

 foreach ( $optlist as $field_name ) {
                $field = "aiosp_$field_name";
		update_post_meta( $id, "_aioseop_{$field_name}", $_POST[ $field ] );
            }

It appears to work on hidden link.

This is a known issue and we will contact the author again for updating their code inside the plugin.
