I have translated a few posts developed with Elementor using the Translation Editor. Also translated image names and caption with Media Translation. Now how can I have the translated post refer to translated images embedded in image galleries within Elementor?

Hi,

I am explaining you the steps again:

please
1. go to hidden link
2. install your theme
3. istall the elementor
4. configure the WPML as you have it on your site. at the last step just click next (site key)
5. upload and translate only one image
6. create only one page with element you are using and set the image.
7. recreate the issue.
8. let us know how to check this and how to recreate this issue.
9. explain the step 8 with screenshots and URLs for better understanding.

Let me know.

Regards,
Riffaz.

Hi Riffaz,
I have completed the steps above and I'm able to replicate the issue.

1) I create one page and publish it.
(I tried creating a custom portfolio post but it doesn't work in your environment, when I try to view the post even before editing in Elementor I get a 404 error message).
Anyway I face the same issue with a standard page.
2) I edit the page in Elementor, add one block of text and then a custom widget called Thumbnails Grid.
3) I upload one image in the gallery for this widget, set the Title in English and save.
4) I translate the image title in French using Media Translation.
5) I translate the page in French using Translation Editor and save.
6) I view the page in French. Text has been translated but if you hover over the single image, you will see that the image title which is displayed is still in English.
On my production site, I went one extra step: opened the translated page in Elementor then saved. After that the translated image title is displayed while hovering. I did not do it in your sandbox environment so that you can see the issue.
