I have translated most of the strings coming from the customizer settings, however, there are still strings in customizer in the wrong language, that I'd recommend fixing directly in the customizer for the time being to make sure that everything is set up OK.

At the moment the header strings look OK.

I have not been able to reproduce the issue at the moment, please let me know if the issue is reproduced so we can review the logs.

Hello,

I appreciate your patience, and I am glad that you allowed us to continued working on this, while it was extremely tricky and truly an issue we have not seen come up again we have reproduced it and found out what is causing it now.

After following up with the compatibility developers assigned to your ticket, I can confirm that the issue was located and now is being escalated to the Astra theme developers.

We have located the issue as well as creating a custom plugin as a workaround for now that overwrites the code causing this behavior.

You will notice a custom plugin on your site called WPML Astra Override.

We have also tidied up, and removed the earlier diagnostic plugin, removing the large debug.log file it created, and turning off WP_DEBUG.

What is needed now from your side is only updating the customizer strings one last time so that they all have the intended English texts.

meaning if you review them and they are using the wrong text/language they need to be adjusted and the issue wont happen again while the helper plugin is activated. (Until a true solution is reached from the Astra team)

Hello, ok, I will try that.
How to add it on all my websites ? Will it be deleted automaticaly after a solid fix was developped ?

I also have mixed content on my website kula-tactical.com coming from .de version. Is this because astra, and the issue will be fixed with your plugin, or it's a separated issue ?
WPML is heavy and slows my stores. Mixed content arent good for that.

Here is the diagnostic :

The theme is Astra with the "Load Google Fonts Locally" performance option enabled.
On the English (.com) pages, Astra outputs font preload tags pointing to the German domain (.de) instead of the current domain. Example from an English page:

<link rel="preload" href="hidden link.../*.woff2" as="font" crossorigin>
<link rel='dns-prefetch' href='//kula-tactical.de' />
This forces a cross-domain (DNS + TLS) request for fonts on every non-German page, hurting font rendering and Core Web Vitals (LCP/FCP).

New threads created by Bobby and linked to this one are listed below:

Hello,

To use the plugin in the other websites the best way is to download it via File Manager and upload it to the other websites you would like to use it on.

It will not automatically be removed as soon as a permanent fix is released, however, as soon as we hear back from the Astra team and theres a solid fix released we will update this ticket here.

Regarding the mixed content and performance issue, I will split it into it's own ticket as this will require it's own debugging and most likely is not connected.

Is that on a new site? I will reach out to the developer that created it and get you a download instead of having you pull it from file manager, possibly something got corrupted that way.

Also, we have been in discussions with Astra, as we did confirm that the issue is on their side and not on WPML's code.

They have requested for you to please open a support ticket with their team as well (you can reference the ticket here) as they will need to do further debugging from their side (they have not been able to reproduce it well )

Thank you for updating me! I will share the reply from our second tier.

"I added the plugin to mu-plugins on their site where that wouldn't be a problem.

Here is a slightly modified version of the plugin which is safe to add as a normal plugin that requires activation:

wpml-astra-override.php.zip

(It is a zip file so they can add it from the Add New plugins page.)
"

I have uploaded the .zip file via wetransfer, please see here:
