Beaver Builder Pro Plugin - Product Post - WPML translations fail.

The BB elements are not broken into parts for WPML to translate as it does with normal posts/pages.

Translation Flags fail!

Done, translating "Sample Page" works properly and translating product "Bike A" fails!

Another related issue: The translation flag is also locked to EN-only on our Bike Product Posts.

Hi,

Please run this test and let me know the results:
- Deactivate WCML for a moment
- Make a small edit in the Beaver Builder content on the original product and save the changes
- Retranslate the product
- Reactivate WCML

Can you tell me if the issue has disappeared?

Hi Carlos,

Yes, by disabling that plugin, the translations function correctly.

- However, we DO need that plugin for our woo commerce settings.

- Flags are sill locked inside a product. You only see the flag for that language you are working in.

Hopefully, you can have this ready ASAP since out site waits for production.

Hi,
I'm glad to hear that the workaround solved the problem.

1.- The steps described in my previous message were only a workaround designed to let you translate the content; however, our specialists recommend using the Advanced Translation Editor instead of the Classic Translation Editor to translate the content, especially with Beaver Builder.

2.- Regarding the language switcher problem: can you share a URL where the issue can be seen? This will allow me to check if there is any JS conflict stopping the switcher from working correctly.

Note: Please make sure the translated products are published, and the secondary languages are not hidden.

Looking forward to your message.

Hi Carlos,

Please fix this plugin asap since the Advanced Translation Editor is no option for us for well known reasons. The products are published but the flag on the product page cannot be changed, in whatever language you are. The site is not yet publicly available. Thanks

Hi,

Could you elaborate a little more on what you mean by "well-known reasons" for not using ATE?

May 4, 2026 at 3:59 pm #18011482

gerritG-2

That is not related to our issue. ATE is a third party external system which is strictly prohibited.

Hi,

While our developers work on a solution for this issue, our 2nd-tier specialists recommended applying the workaround I described in this ticket: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/beaver-builder-pro-plugin-product-post-wpml-translations-fail/#post-17999095 because there are only around 20 products on the site, and it will allow you to translate the products via CTE.
