Hello,

I have a .com Domain and the Primary Language is Spanish. The secondary Language is English.

I want to Optimize the Domain for Spanish. My questions is, if I create sitemap File in Yoast, are there Spanish and english links included, so is the primary and the secondary language indexed by google?

What is the best way, to optimise the Website just with one Domain?

Thx
Sally

Hello Sally,

It depends on the language URL format:
1. If you choose the "Language name added as a parameter " or "Different languages in directories" option, URLs from both languages will be included in the sitemap.
2. If you decide to use the "A different domain per language" option (you can create subdomains for your domain), then each language will have a separate sitemap assigned to the specific subdomain.

It's up to you which option you choose.

All pages have the language assigned and all duplicates have an additional parameter (canonical) – so Google bots know exactly how to properly index everything.
